Dave Perry, former Shiny chief and now gaming evangelist heading a new Acclaim-backed project, has revealed that the new community-led game under his charge will be a title.

Emailing our European PR rep this morning, Perry revealed that the massively game - so far known only as 'Top Secret' - will be a racing game designed by a vast community of gamers, with some 23,000 now committed to helping. As Perry notes, this is by far the biggest team ever, with the most active and skillful volunteer earning a games job at the end of the project.

With the website and forums through which Top Secret will be organised now live, game development is expected to begin in earnest, with Perry predicting more designers will join the MMO racing title.

Quite how important design decisions will be made democratically remains to be seen, but to accommodate all the ideas and views of a 23,000-strong team is certainly going to be quite a task. We'll be speaking with Dave Perry about this project soon.
