E3 dated for July
11-13 revealed
When it was revealed earlier this week that Mass Effect would be out before E3, we rather foolishly scratched our heads, this being the first hint that the show would be staged in July ("That event is in July, right?" Bioware boss Roy Muzyka asked US website IGN. "Well, Mass Effect won't appear at this year's E3"). It's official now, though.

ESA has now sent out emails informing member of the gaming press that the show will be held between July 11-13, with a far more intimate show, where real business will get done, said to be on the cards.
E3 will offer us "one-on-one meetings with leading game company executives in an intimate setting, as well as network, socialise, and test pilot major company offerings."
"An environment designed to ensure that you can get your business done efficiently and effectively," is also promised, leading us to assume there will be far fewer explosions, booth babes and other attention grabbing stunts. We'll keep you posted.
