Who needs expensive games consoles, and over-hyped offerings, not users, that's for sure. clock-in today with fresh news from their globe-conquering content delivery service, announcing that RACE (the new official WTCC game) will be available to trial for free from tomorrow.

The free trial game will available from tomorrow until the close of business on Sunday, and from then on RACE will be offered at the introductory price of 29.95 USD (23 Euros), this represents a 10% discount over what will become the normal price after one week. Or something.

SimBin are behind this online-published opus, and it's being billed as the first faithful recreation of WTCC. There are ten official tracks, a smorgasbord (the developer's are Swedish) of real cars and drivers, and tapping-in to the focussed theme of Steam, a 24 player online mode is offered.

"RACE embodies the SimBin mantra of 'easy to learn; hard to master,'" commented Henrik Roos, SimBin boss. "Novices can get into the game and be racing immediately. And, with several game modes, the game remains challenging for expert drivers as well."
