Chinese millionaire gaming student deported
MMO auction wealth exits Japan
A Chinese student and former resident of Kumamoto, Japan, has been deported - but not before making over one-million dollars selling items such as weapons and gold for online games, through an auction site. Mainichi Daily reports that Wang Yue Si was in Japan on a student visa, and as he was avid gamer he turned to his hobby when he found himself short of a little cash.

The 150 million Yen Wang earned since April this year was apparently in violation of his visa, and the student found himself deported back to China after a bank clerk became suspicious of the vast quantities of cash he was sending home. The investigation which ultimately ended with deportation began in August with the Kumamoto police investigating the bank worker's suspicions. He was finally found in breach of Japan's strict Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law.
Wang apparently sent more than 100 million Yen back to China before the authorities caught up with him. That's about 1.3 million USD, or nearly 700,000 GBP. It is unclear whether Wang's enterprising business model will continue now he has returned to China a wealthy man.
