Aiming at the broad ‘TV’ gaming market, are shortly to release a retro-styled Atari VCS Joystick that attaches directly to the TV, and comes pre-loaded with ten equally aged arcade games.

The target audience is clearly those that enjoy the occasional fix on the likes of Sky TV’s interactive services, without actually getting their hands too dirty in the expensive console stakes.

Pong, Asteroids and Missile Command, are to feature among others, and all the codework is being undertaken by DC Studios. Atari TV will be out next February in for around the £25 mark.
