Metal Slug leaping onto Live Arcade

SNK Playmore have been busy little beavers at this year's Tokyo Game Show, being held at Makuhari Messe, near Chiba (just outside Tokyo). The publisher have just revealed, via a pamphlet at the expo first spotted by 1UP.com, that an edition of Metal Slug is bound for the Xbox Live Arcade. Describing the title as 'the original' in translation, this game looks quite a lot like the first Metal Slug title. Though that remains unconfirmed.
Word from SNK doesn't give us a date for this new Arcade title,though Microsoft will no doubt be keen to get it on there as quickly as possible as they look to make in-roads into the Japanese market, which they have so far failed to achieve. More on Metal Slug Arcade as we get it.
