Square-Enix promises gratification at TGS
FF videos and new games coming
With Sony promising more than twenty-five new titles playable on the forthcoming PlayStation 3 console at this year's Tokyo Games Show, fans will none the less be just a tad disappointed to learn that the new Final Fantasy won't be available to experience hands-on. That said, in announcing their plans for the Japanese expo, Square-Enix have revealed that a brand new video of Final Fantasy XIII will give us a few hints about the game.

As well as video footage of the highly-anticipated latest in the epic RPG series, the developer-publisher are also promising to announce a number of brand new games. It remains unclear whether the footage shown will be 100% brand new - but we do know that both XIII and XIII Versus will be demonstrated.
Square-Enix also reveal that Project Sylpheed will be playable on the Xbox 360 in Makuhari-Messe (Chiba), not to mention Dawn of Mana on the PlayStation 2 console. Final Fantasy offerings on PS2 and DS will be playable at the show, but no other new creations in the series will be available to toy with. That said, attendees are promised various videos of games on other platforms. Which is... okay, we suppose. Oh, and those secret new games, of course. More as we get it.
