Sony reveals a release date for the PS Vita Slim in the UK

No news of a US release though

Sony has finally revealed a release date for the new slim version of the PS Vita that they release in Japan last October.

The new PS Vita Slim is 20 percent thinner, 15 percent lighter and boasts an extra hour of battery life over the launch models.

It has dropped the OLED screen in favour of a lighter LCD screen and includes a whole 1GB of internal memory for savegames and downloads although this is disabled when a Vita memory card is inserted. Sony reveals a release date for the PS Vita Slim in the UK

The PS Vita Slim (or PS Vita 2000 if you prefer) is due out in the UK on February the 7th. There's no news of a North American release as yet but it probably won't be that far off.
