Microsoft to look at download prices on the Xbox One

Hopefully they might start coming down

Microsoft's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb has promised that they are going to look into the issue of pricing of full game downloads on the Xbox One amongst other fan concerns.

Download prices of full retail games have been pretty steep on both the Xbox One and the PS4 with games like Call Of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV both coming in at 54.99 GBP to download when they can be bought cheaper at retail.

Hryb stated on a Reddit thread about the pre-order pricing of digital download of Titanfall, “We are way aware of this and many of the concerns of the community - we have some great stuff planned for Xbox One this year (and beyond.) As soon as we can share some of the goodness...we will :)” Microsoft to look at download prices on the Xbox One

He added on the more general issue of the high prices of digital downloads, “It is indeed on the agenda.”
