Kuju announce Redwood Falls

Not complete with crafting bad guys that act like real bad guys, and victims that fall over in incredibly complex and realistic fashions, UK developer Kuju have today announced that their new first-person shooter will include accurately modelled representations of the entire human body.

Redwood Falls is the name of the brand new title, which is being developed for the Playstation 3 presently, was revealed at a Tokyo press event, and footage revealed that enemies bodies become 'flayed' in a realistic fashion when shot. That means exposed bone and even internal organs, apparently. Crumbs.

Kuju explain that this isn't necessarily gore for gore's sake, however, the theme of the game being 'regeneration'. In the world of Redwood Falls, characters will regenerate until recovered. "In this game, the cells of your enemies have individual AI," producer Tancred Dyke-Wells told Japanese magazine Famitsu. Enemies will apparently use their own bones and limbs as weapons.

Dyke-Wells added that the developers plan is to "completely reproduce the human body." Kuju are currently in search of a publisher for their new game. We'll keep you posted.
