Halo 2 Anniversary and Crackdown 3 rumours surface

Cloud-based multiplayer title codenamed Nimbus also on the way

New rumours surrounding a Halo 2 remake and Crackdown 3 have appeared on thew internet.

One NeoGAF user going by the handle 'ntkrnl' who has been 'verified' as a Microsoft insider has suggested that this year's Halo release will be the remastered Halo 2 Anniversary Edition due most likely on November the 11th.

The source also indicated that it will include access to a Halo 5 beta. Also mentioned was Crackdown 3. This one is a lot farther off though with the source dating it for release on Xbox One some time in 2016 which probably means we won't hear any news on this one for a while yet. The source had one final snippet of information relating to another game in development under the codename Nimbus. Nimbus is apparently being developed by cloud-powered multiplayer specialists Cloudgine which seems quite intriguing.

As always, these are unconfirmed rumours so take with the appropriate pinch of salt and we'll let you know when we have more.
