Despite being Microsoft's most costly acquisition made in an attempt to foster top-class first-party games on the original Xbox, has certainly lived up to its name on the first iteration of the console. Latest reports indicate we can expect more from the developer on the Xbox 360, however. Whilst Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero are bound to garner far more attention for the firm, another two games for the new platform are also under-way, boss reveals. Moore made this latest revelation in an interview with MTV, stating that the games have already been in for two years and would be officially revealed in the spring. Are Rare about finally come good for their Redmond-based backers?

In the interview, Moore said he was very 'proud' of Rare's Kameo, and also praised early games like Ubisoft's King Kong and Activision's 2. He did however admit that Perfect Dark Zero had already faced some criticism, from detractors noting that the new game doesn't show-off the power of the next-gen visuals to best effect. That said, Moore pointed to the 32-player mode as the clincher for Rare's first-person shooter.

"If the is so incredibly superior to the Xbox 360 in game quality, game quantity, game breadth, game visuals, depth of the digital entertainment experience and price, God bless them," Moore responded when asked about the threat of the PS3. We think he doesn't mean it, however.
