Codemasters promises more actually rallying in their next Dirt game

Hopefull Dirt 4 will bring the series back to basic

Hot on the heels of Codemasters teasing not one but two possible new Dirt-related racing titles in 2014 the series chief designer Paul Coleman has been answering fan questions on what they can expect from a new Dirt title.

One fan noted that the series had moved away from its roots as Colin McRae's Dirt and asked Coleman for much more old-school rallying in the next game.

Coleman responded very positively, “Yes it can and it will :D” Codemasters promises more actually rallying in their next Dirt game

With Codemasters trying to split the series into two last time out with Dirt 3 and Dirt Showdown possibly Dirt 4 will concentrate on the business of driving road cars at breakneck speeds down roads and dirt tracks and Dirt Showdown 2 will concentrate on the more arcadey elements that crept into the series after Colin MacRae passed away.
