Revolution could be After PS3
Concern over Nintendo's timing
Having vowed after the GameCube's struggles three year's back that Nintendo's next console would not be the last to market as before, president Satoru Iwata appears on the brink of forcefully digesting his own words. Speaking to investors last week in Japan, the Big N boss admitted that the new Revolution system could well be out after the PS3. Sony's machine is expected out in Japan next spring, whilst the Xbox 360 will be released globally this November (it is widely believed). Iwata assured however that the system would not "fall behind by too much," with Sony's own schedule for release currently unknown anyway.

"There is no possibility that the Revolution's launch will fall behind by too much," Iwata stated, according to GameSpot, qualifying "but there might be some small changes [to the release date]." It remains a possibility that the Revolution could be out ahead of the PS3 in regions other than Japan too. Iwata also revealed that the Revolution is expected to have a significantly lower price point than both major rivals, following the trend set by the Cube no doubt. More soon.
