Having announced a series of new games at E3, including a brand new Indiana Jones outing for 2007, we today learn that will be self-publishing their first handheld game too - in the shape of Star Wars: Battlefront II for the PSP. James Bond: Nightfire creators Savage Entertainment are currently hard at work on the project, and we're promised four-player across landscapes taken from all the flicks, including Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. No date has been offered for this interesting prospect, though we do know that the console version is out this autumn.

The will even be getting a few exclusive modes, thanks to Savage, who will give players the chance to act as an Imperial sniper, a mercenary, or a smuggler. The likes of Star Wars: Empire at War were also revealed at E3, and much is expected of LucasArts upcoming titles; the firm vowing to make better use of their more-than-potent IPs. More soon, then.
