Warner Bros new Interactive division announced a brand-spanking new title today, based on their library of licences, which will see the creation of a Dirty Harry videogame, being created with the involvement of original star Clint Eastwood, who will lend his voice and likeness to the internally developed project. "We identified 'Dirty Harry' as something gamers were interested in and we were excited about," enthused division head Jason Hall. "To our elation, Clint was very knowledgeable about how this could be interesting as a storytelling medium and very supportive."

Dirty Harry is expected to make a very fluid transition to the interactive medium, but won't be with us for some time as it is to be created for the next-generation of the and Playstation consoles. Variety.com are reporting a 2007 launch as 'most likely'. Another major 70s film licence is also heading to the living room in interactive form, with EA's Godfather project well under way already. We'll keep you posted on Harry's progress... if you're feeling lucky, punks...
