Halo: Spartan Assault to launch on Xbox One at Christmas

And on Christmas Eve no less

Microsoft has announced a release date for the Xbox One version of Halo: Spartan Assault.

Set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, the game follows Spartan Ops' Commander Sarah Palmer. The action takes place as a isometric-style shooter.

Microsoft has stressed that it will run in full native 1080p at 60fps which is an excellent upgrade from the original Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 versions of the game. Halo: Spartan Assault to launch on Xbox One at Christmas

Halo: Spartan Assault is due to be released on Xbox One as a download on December the 24th. It will cost 11.99 GBP but those that picked it up on Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 will get the Xbox One version for a limited time price of 3.99 GBP. The Xbox 360 version is due out in January.
