World of Warcraft dated
November 23rd stateside
As if the rest of the month isn't looking expensive enough for eager games of pretty much all the major platforms, Blizzard have just stepped forward with another offer too good to refuse, especially for fans of the MMORPG genre or the acclaimed Warcraft series. Yes, as you've already guessed, World of Warcraft will officially launch this month; November 23rd to be precise.
The lengthy beta test having finally concluded, many will now be watching with interest how Blizzard's take on the burgeoning genre fairs against tough competition.
"World of Warcraft has been our largest undertaking to date," commented Blizzard president and cofounder Mike Morhaime. "When we set out to create a massively multiplayer online game, our goal was to expand the scope of the Warcraft universe by offering an incredibly dynamic game experience."
The game will retail out of the box for the usual price, whilst monthly subscription weighs-in at $14.99, or $13.99 for a simultaneous three-month purchase, or even $12.99 for six-months. The date covers North America, Australia, and New Zealand, with Europe and South Korea set to follow shortly after, albeit on an unspecified date. More soon.
