Star Wars waged in the palm of your hand
DS, PSP and GBA get new Star Wars outing
With the third and final instalment in the trilogy of Star Wars prequels due next May, it was only a matter of time before the inevitable horde of LucasArts tie-in games started crawling forth from the woodwork. The new titles in question are heading for DS, PSP and GBA to coincide with the film, The Revenge of the Sith, and Ubisoft will oversee matters on LucasArts behalf.
The French publisher's Montreal studio will be in charge of creating the new games, and this out-sourcing follows a recent change in policy by LucasArts. Ubisoft state that "in their own unique way, each game will immerse players directly into the most compelling and memorable moments of the movie." Force powers, multiple characters and no-doubt light sabres are all set for incorporation, we're told, and quite frankly with Ubisoft's usually excellent Montreal studio at the helm, we fail to see how they can go wrong.
More on this as we get it.
