Some form of brand new Sensible Soccer title appears far closer now than you might have thought, with word from mobile games publisher Kuju and developer Tower Studios informing us that a mobile version of the game is in the works, and could be released as early as the end of this month. Which is something of a surprise. "All the original features that made Sensible Soccer such a massive hit with the press and public alike" will reportedly be included, such as 50 international sides, 800 players, tactics and team selection features which are all mooted.

A Java enabled handset will be needed to enjoy this Sensible Software port on the go, and the game features a very accurate rendition of the classic original. Which could be found impressing many at this month's EGN trade show in London, interestingly. "This is a great opportunity for us to bring Sensible Soccer to old and new fans alike. The key to Sensi Soccer is its addictive playability and its appeal to all people who love great games," commented Sensible's Jon Hare.
