A brand new videogame, starring Final Fantasy VII's Vincent is being developed by Square Enix - the developer and publisher has revealed, according to the latest edition of Jump Magazine in Japan, that is. The ex-Turks gunman will feature in the new title, called Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. The action of the new game will be set one year after the events of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, due out on DVD soon, and also on the PSP's UMD format (possibly).
Details on the premise are thin on the ground currently, but we are informed that the new game will feature a group known as the "DG's", who are attacking peaceful towns throughout the world; the nasty anarchists that they are. Little else is known on the game, though a PS2 debut in Japan come 2005 is planned. But is it an RPG or an action game? We await enlightenment.
