Two new games were unearthed today, with Giftpia creators Skip revealed to be working on a new title of the puzzle variety, whilst another imaginative slice of light-hearted fun also comes from Japanese firm Spike. Although we know little on Skip's foray, an diary update from the project's chief does suggest a launch around this year.

Spike's title on the other hand is altogether more known, it's called Tendo Dokuta and sees the player performing comical surgery on the DS using the stylus as a scalpel in all manner of tense procedures. It certainly sounds like an original prospect, with diagnosis possible using in-game charts too. Most unusual.

The third title to come to light is another puzzler, from Nintendo themselves. Akira Sakuma, producer of the Momotaro Densetsu video board games (yes, we've never played them either), alerted the world to the new title after conceding that his team thoroughly enjoyed it during a recent visit.

"I got to see a puzzle game that's currently in development," he explained, adding "Doi just wouldn't stop playing the game, saying, 'I can't stop playing this game... it feels like popping bubble wrap!'" Most promising indeed, Sakuma also confirmed he would be developing a title for the DS after this meeting.
