EA promise more from Medal of Honour Franchise
New signings join EA LA.
With the announcement of a few new appointments at their LA Studio, EA cemented the ambitions of the Medal of Honour series, promising more innovation and excellence in future titles.
“This provides us with a leadership core that is essential to building Medal of Honor into one of the all-time great franchises in the entertainment industry,” said EA Executive Vice President Bruce McMillan.
The new team members include Academy Award-winning Senior Digital Effects Supervisor Mark Lasoff who has joined as Art Director. His most recent movie efforts include Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolution, The Scorpion King and Titanic. Tom Allen has been named Lighting Supervisor. Allen has fifteen years of lighting experience on such notable projects as Superman and SHREK. Video game industry veteran Laurent Ancessi has been named Technical Director and joins EA with more than fifteen years of industry experience.
Sounds like Fantasy Studio, to me, and the inclusion of a number of film-industry types certainly offers clues at the series future direction.
