A spot of new information concerning Blizzard's upcoming MMORPG appears to have seeped out of the E3 debris today, with the word that this eagerly-anticipated new persistent world will feature auction houses in the major cities of the game world allowing players to buy and trade in-game items.

Most auction houses will only allow players of the same faction to do business, however, the house located at 'Booty Bay' will allow members of all factions to trade. An interesting gameplay dynamic, I'm sure you'll agree - and it's good to see acknowledging the popularity of purchasing in-game items, even if eBay probably won't be so pleased.
