First DLC for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 revealed as it hits stores

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 hits stores today with news that some free multiplayer DLC is on its way very soon.

The new multiplayer DLC will add two new maps to the game called Tower Defense and Temple Crossing and is due in the next few weeks.

City Interactive are also planning to release a patch for the PC to bring dedicated DirectX 11 support allowing PC players to take full advantage of the CryEngine 3's groundbreaking visuals.

City Interactive CEO, Myrek Tyminski said, "From the suspenseful tactical sniper experience and multitude of real world locations, to the incredible visuals, advanced AI and intelligent physics using Crytek's, state-of-the-art, CryEngine 3 , Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a game built for the modern military video game enthusiasts. We will also soon release a dedicated update to the PC version of the game that will allow gamers to enjoy all the advantages of DirectX 11."

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC from today.
