Pre-owned Wii Us may still be able to access former users' downloads
It has emerged that anyone who buys a pre-owned Wii U may be able to access the former owners download purchases.
This seems to be possible even with the hard drives wiped and the Nintendo Network account deleted from the machine.
The most likely explanation for this happening is that ownership of downloads is linked to the individual machines rather than the Nintendo Network account of the purchaser.
Nintendo Of America has confirmed that they have a system for migrating Nintendo Network accounts from one machine to another but they have not stated whether or not this service is available outside of North America.
