Irrational opens up the BioShock Infinite cover art to a fan vote

Irrational games resopnds constructively to community criticism

Following strong criticism from the BioShock community over BioShock Infinite's generic box art Irrational has decided to open up the choice to a community vote.

The game will now be released with a reversible cover and while the generic art will remain, as Irrational boss Ken Levine said, to court the uninformed masses to try BioShock Infinite, the other side will be chosen by the series' community.

The vote is taking place over on the game's official site and there are six different covers to choose from between now and Wednesday the 19th of December. Levine has also promised that there may be more alternate covers available later to download and print should there be the demand for it.

BioShock Infinite is now due for release on March the 26th in North America and (most probably) March 10th in the UK and Europe on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Thanks MCV.
