Games nominees named for the 2012 UK Writers' Guild Award
The UK Writers' Guild have announced their nominees for this year's Writer's Guild Award.
The first of this year's nominees is Paul Crocker for his work on Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham City a title that has already been showered with praise from all quarters as well as numerous awards.
Next up is Zombies, Run! writer Naomi Alderman and given that it's a mobile app designed for joggers to collect things and run away from zombies is no mean feat.
The final nomination goes to the writers of Risen 2: Dark Waters Gordon Rennie, Alan Barnes and Emma Beeby for their story which sees pirates taking on ancient gods and monsters to bring some order back to the high seas.
The winners will be revealed during this year's ceremony at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill, London on November the 14th.
