Techland working on a Dead Island-inspired fantasy game Project Hell
Techland has revealed that they are working on a new game which they are working on under the codename of Project Hell.
The new title was inspired by Dead Island and even started its life as an internal weapon mod for their popular zombie survival title.
Project Hell takes the first-person hack and slash action of Dead Island and plunges it into a dark fantasy setting swapping guns and baseball bats with nails through them for magic spells and two-handed swords.
Techland explained, "Our main goal is to make a game we can all enjoy playing so dont expect unicorns and fairies we prefer breaking through hordes of undead minions only to slaughter their devilish and loathsome masters in a bloody boss-fight."
