Fan built Half-Life remake Black Mesa Source out this month
The Source-based fan remake of Half-Life called Black Mesa Source has been given a release date.
Fans have been working hard on Black Mesa Source which is essentially a mod for Half-Life 2 rather than a standalone game.
It is not a full release for Black Mesa though. What will be released is the first 14 chapters of the game up until the Lambda Core level with the rest coming at a later date.
Black Mesa Source will be made available to download from September the 14th.
