Steam Big Screen mode coming next month
Valve has announced that they will be launching Steam Big Picture mode for televisions some time next month.
Steam Big Picture mode reformats Steam content for playing games on televisions instead of PC monitors improving the gaming experience for those who like to plug their PC into the big screen TV.
Designer at Valve, Greg Coomber said, "In early September you'll be able to hop into a beta, click a button, and see Steam reformatted for your TV and usable with a PC game controller, or a mouse and keyboard if you wanna play that way."
He added, "Everything will be there, so you don't have to give up your favorite stuff once you walk from the den to the living room."
