New games for E3

Clearly noting the increasing closeness publishers like EA and Activision are forging with Hollywood, Acclaim today announced their own initiatives to get in on the act. A new deal with veteran casting director Louis DiGiamo is the order of the day, and the new agreement will see DiGiamo securing A-list acting talent for use in two of Acclaim's upcoming videogames, which will - intriguingly - be revealed at E3 this very week.
"The lines between Hollywood and video games are increasingly converging, and Acclaim is committed to leveraging the strength from each to create truly unique properties," DiGiamo commented. "Both of these brands have all of the elements that make for great feature films -deep stories, dramatic character arcs and high-action scenes - and I am excited to be working on their virtual backlot."
Louis DiGiamo's filmic credits include The Godfather, The Exorcist, Gladiator, Donnie Brasco, Rain Man, Good Morning Vietnam and Thelma & Louise. More on this interesting match as we get it.
