Vita development dropped by Cave and COO resigns

Cult shooter developer Cave is going through a bit of a rocky period at the moment it seems despite a recent renaissance in the shooter genre.

The chief operating officer of the Japanese studio, Miko Watanabe has resigned from his post citing personal reasons and will leave at the end of the month. He will remain on as representative director until the company's AGM in August.

They have also cancelled two titles they had in development for the PlayStation Vita both of which had been revealed at last year's Tokyo Games Show.

The first title was one of Cave's trademark shooters and the other was a social title although neither have actually been shown in public.

Thanks Andriasang.
