Portal 2 grabs a hat-trick at the BAFTAs

This year's BAFTAs have proven very successful for Valve and EA this year with Portal 2 and Battlefield 3 scooping up three awards each.

Portal 2 (which was published under the EA Partners label) won the awards for Best Game, Design and Story while Battlefield 3 took the awards for Online Multiplayer, Audio Achievement and the publicly voted GAME Award.

Batman Arkham Asylum grabbed the Action Award and Mark Hamill took the Performer Award for his role as the Joker. LA Noire won the award for Best Original Soundtrack.

For the third year in a row a Total War game won the Strategy Award. This time round it was Total War: Shogun 2. There was also an award for Rayman Origins which scooped the gong for Artistic Achievement.
