EA says From Ashes DLC is not on the Mass Effect 3 game discs

EA not pulling a Capcom

EA is firmly denying claims that the initial pack of downloadable content for Mass Effect 3 is actually included on the game discs.

Mass Effect 3 is the latest game to suffer accusations that some downloadable content has actually been concealed on the game disc meaning that anyone buying the DLC in question is actually just paying for a rather expensive unlock code.

EA has come back saying that, unlike Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken DLC which the Japanerse developer confessed was included on the disc, the accusations that the From Ashes DLC is in no way included on the retail discs and is actually a 600MB download.

An EA spokesperson said, "From Ashes is a 600 MB+ download with all new content, including the mission on Eden Prime, new dialogue options and conversations with Javik, new cinematics, the Prothean weapon, and new appearances for all squad members."
