Characters, locations and enemies revealed
Capcom has let loose another small amount of details on their big Christmas release Resident Evil 6.
Set 2013, Chris Redfield is sent to the fictitious Chinese coastal town of Lanshiang to investigate a major bioterrorist attack.
The other main protagonists in the game will be Raccoon City survivor Leon Kennedy, a Secret Service agent by the name of Helena Harper, Leon's Field Operations Support agent Ingrid Hunnigan, US president Adam Benford and mysterious mercenary involved in a war in Eastern Europe in which bioterrorist attacks are being heavily used.
Zombies make their return and are faster and more aggressive than ever before. The first new monster to be introduced is the J'avo which is the Serbian word for demon. The J'avo are savage, intelligent, aggressive and coordinated monsters which mutate further when injured presenting a formidable challenge in combat.
Capcom has also promised that Resident Evil 6 will feature a newly revamped control system that will allow players to shoot on the move and roll in all directions for the very first time in the series making for a much more dynamic experience.
