Double Fine's Stacking confirmed for PC
Classic Double Fine-style adventuring returns to the PC
It has been a while since we've seen any work from Tim Schafer's Double Fine studio appear on the PC and this has disappointed many of his fans given his long and glorious history on the platform (we must forget about the slightly disappointing Costume Quest).
There is some good news on this front however as Double Fine has confirmed that they will be bringing their quirky adventure Stacking to the PC.
Stacking follows Double Fine's impressive tradition of creating unique adventures as it follows the tale of a young Russian doll as he aims to save his family. The gameplay revolves around the idea of Russian dolls stacking up inside each other with different dolls required to meet different challenges in the game.
There is no release date for the PC version of Stacking as yet but it will be good to see a proper Tim Schafer adventure on the PC again.
Thanks Gamasutra.
