Ueda will finish The Last Guardian
No comment on the departure reports
Fumito Ueda has confirmed that he will see The Last Guardian through to completion but remains silent on reports that he has left Sony.
It was initially suggested that Ueda-san had left Sony and was continuing his work on The Last Guardian in a freelance capacity and while he has not confirmed the reports he has not denied them either.
His silence on his employment status at Sony is believed to be down to a company-wide non-disclosure agreement.
Rumours also seem to indicate that Fumito Ueda's alleged parting of ways with Sony may also be at least a partial cause of the most recent delay to the release of The Last Guardian.
