Dizzy rolls back onto smartphones
The 8-bit eggshaped hero returns in portable HD
Codemaster's classic hard-boiled platform adventure hero Dizzy is making a return on smartphone platforms this Christmas.
Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, has received an HD makeover for release on iPhone and Android platforms at the beginning of December.
The original game's project director Paul Ranson, who oversaw development at DNA development said: "20 years on and Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk remains one of the most memorable games in the series for its puzzles and humour and its an absolute pleasure to return to the directors role for this HD edition. For once, this is a retro classic that doesnt require rose-tinted glasses to appreciate its design and gameplay Dizzy: Prince of the Yolk is simply a great puzzle-solving romp thats been brought up-to-date with glorious visuals."
Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk is out on the App Store and the Android Marketplace from December the 6th.
