DC Universe Online to go free-to-play
Superhero MMO goes free-to-play with added bonuses for splashing the cash
Sony has revealed that they will be taking their superhero MMO DC Universe Online free-to-play.
From the 1st of November new players will be able to play all the currently available gameplay in Gotham City and Metropolis, create up to two characters and access the DLC and purchasables via the in-game store.
There are another two tiers of user available as well. Premium becomes available to players who have spent at least 5 USD via the in-game store or on subscriptions. Premium players will have access to extra content on the store as well as extra character and inventory slots.
Legendary status is granted to players who subscribe for 14.99 USD per month. This will grant players all the DLC for free, 15 character slots and 80 inventory slots.
