No Flash support for PS Vita web browser
New memory card format to be used too
The PS Vita is joining a long list of mobile devices that does not support Adobe's Flash in its web browser.
Sony has confirmed that, like Apple, their newest mobile device support HTML 5 rather than Flash although it will support JavaScript 1.7 as well.
Other news that may frustrate those interested in the PS Vita is that it will use a new proprietary format of memory cards and will require a card inserted in order to run some games and download content from PSN.
Apparently this new format of memory card will not be compatible with Sony's existing Memory Stick format.
