Microsoft announced that Minecraft will not arrive on the until the spring of next year now.

The 360 port of Minecraft is being handled by 4J Studios, the team that has specialised in porting Rare's N64 back-catalogue titles such as Perfect Dark and the Banjo Kazooie series for XBLA.

For anyone who can't wait for the Xbox 360 version to be released it will be on show at MineCon which is being held at the Mandalay Casino and Hotel, Las Vegas on November the 18th and 19th.
