Batman: Arkham City shifts 4.6 million
New Batman title a top contender for biggest-selling game of the year
The new Batman game has exceeded expectations and build very impressively on the success of Arkham Asylum selling nearly 5 million copies world wide in its launch week.

Batman: Arkham City launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October the 18th in the US and October the 21st in the UK and Europe and since then it has shipped 4.6 million units according to Warner Interactive's latest figures.
Developer Rocksteady's Sefton Hill said: "The true test for any game is what the players think and we have been thrilled by their reaction to Batman: Arkham City. The team at Rocksteady put every ounce of effort into making the best Batman experience we possibly could, so we are overwhelmed by the incredible feedback from the community."
All this was achieved with the PC version still to be released. PC gamers will be able to explore Arkham City from November the 18th.
