DOOM 4 delay rumours "complete b*****ks" says Bethesda
Pete Hines denies the rumours that DOOM 4 is on hold indefinitely
Rumours had emerged that DOOM 4 had been postponed indefinitely in the wake of the mixed reception Rage has received.
An anonymous source suggested that Zenimax had held a meeting in Dallas and decided to postpone DOOM 4 due to "a serious lack of confidence in the project management at id."
Bethesda PR man Pete Hines responded to the rumours saying that they were "complete b*****ks".
He added: "We don't comment on unannounced games and DOOM 4 hasn't been announced (though I appreciate that id has previously referenced DOOM 4). Games are done when they are done and no title under development at id has been postponed indefinitely or otherwise."
