Level 5 and Studio Ghibli's Ni No Kuni coming to the West courtesy of Namco Bandai
Namco gambles on another off-kilter Japanese RPG
The sumptuous RPG collaboration between Professor Layton studio Level 5 and legendary anime creators Studio Ghibli, Ni No Kuni has been announced for a Western release.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch follows the story of a boy called Oliver who travels into a parallel dimension to become a magician in order to bring his mother back to life.
Akihiro Hino president and CEO of Level 5 said: "It was a momentous experience to create a game with artists who represent Japan as much as Studio Ghibli and Mr. Hisaishi do. We sincerely want to share this title with the entire world."
Ni No Kuni will come to Europe courtesy of Namco Bandai exclusively on PlayStation 3 in 2012.
