Sony has revealed that, unlike the PSP, the PS Vita's titles will be available as downloads on the same day they are released at retail.

This comes along with the news that titles seem to be cheaper to buy on than they are at retail.

Sony's Chris Norden also confirmed that the PS Vita will be open to titles should developers want to go that way.

Norden said: "You are free to explore whatever business model you want. You'll have to talk to your account manager, and say, 'Here's my idea, and here's what I wanna do,' but yes, you're allowed to do that."
