DICE's Patrick Liu has been talking about again although he gave no indication on whether they had begun work on the sequel again.

Liu recognised that the first game has a large and devoted fanbase and added that they were looking at ways to broaden the series' appeal.

He said: "I think it's something that people are ready to get into again. We see that there's a huge fan following, it's almost like a cult. And we know what strengths and weaknesses we had in that game. If we were to release a new game, we'd know what to improve and how to reach a broader audience. So I definitely think theres a market there."

It was announced earlier this year that work on a potential sequel had been shelved in order to make sure 3 is as polished as possible.

Thanks Spong.
