Fans ready for more Mirror's Edge says DICE's Patrick Liu
But we still don't know when...
DICE's Patrick Liu has been talking about Mirror's Edge again although he gave no indication on whether they had begun work on the sequel again.
Liu recognised that the first game has a large and devoted fanbase and added that they were looking at ways to broaden the series' appeal.
He said: "I think it's something that people are ready to get into again. We see that there's a huge fan following, it's almost like a cult. And we know what strengths and weaknesses we had in that game. If we were to release a new game, we'd know what to improve and how to reach a broader audience. So I definitely think theres a market there."
It was announced earlier this year that work on a potential sequel had been shelved in order to make sure Battlefield 3 is as polished as possible.
