Eidos Montreal has revealed the reason for the odd way the boss battles sit within Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

While receiving an impressive reception from critics many levelled criticism at the game's boss battles for being overly tough and not quite in keeping with the rest of the game.
It has been revealed that Eidos Montreal outsourced the development of the boss battles to Grip Entertainment, whose boss freely admits no knowledge of the series before beginning work on the game.
In a behind-the-scenes interview Grip boss Paul Kruszewski revealed: "Full confession: I'm a shooter guy. I was coming into this not knowing a lot about the Deus Ex world. The guys at Eidos gave us the design, gave us the engineand we gave them back that experience."
