NBA 2K12 demo goes live on Xbox 360 and PS3

Players can rewrite history replaying last year's NBA finals

Basketball fans can get a taste of the latest b-ball action with a demo of upcoming title NBA 2K12.

The demo launches today on Xbox Live and PSN and features one quarter of last season's NBA finals matchup between the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks.

This year's installment features a new post play system for full 360-degree player movement to dominate the paint, total shot stick control for more intuitive offensive moves, and updated visuals complete with dynamic broadcast-style pre-game highlight reels, all of which will be showcased in the demo.

NBA 2K11 will be released on October the 7th on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
