F1 2011 will feature the Safety Car

Codies u-turn on the inclusion of the race-changing Safety Car feature

Codemasters has finally bowed to fan demands, revealing that they have included the Safety Car in this years Formula One title.

They had previously said that the Safety Car would not be appearing in the series until they could get it right.

It appears that that time is now with the latest developer diary form Codemasters Birmingham reveals more information about the Safety Car feature alongside this season's many improvements.

F1 2011 is out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September the 23rd with unique handheld editions of the game also in development for the PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
